PRIVACY NOTICE - CARERS TRUST SURVEYS
This notice explains how we use any information we ask you for when completing this survey.
This survey is run by Upstream Research Limited, on behalf of Carers Trust. The purpose of this survey is to help Carers Trust better understand the experience of young carers in Scotland. The survey will be used to provide advice on what kinds of support should be developed, and to monitor the impact of the Caring is Learning programme, a national campaign for young carers. The information is collected on the basis of consent, and of legitimate purposes for undertaking this research.
Responses are anonymous. You do not need to provide your name or email address, and where information about where you live or work is requested, the response is optional. No questions would enable identification. Responses are collected on a survey hosted by Survey Monkey. Survey Monkey records the IP address used to complete the survey. It does not record your email, address, or any details that would identify you. This means that Upstream does not hold information which identifies you.
All information collected will be processed, protected and disposed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and will only be used by us to inform the design of the Carers Trust’s Caring is Learning programme. We will not disclose any personal information to any other third parties unless required to do so by law.
Upstream Research Limited will retain the survey responses for the duration of its contract with the Carers Trust and a period of 6 years after, in line with its contract with Carers Trust.
Please contact us if you have any questions about this privacy notice or information we hold.
